The RICOCHET Water Filled Road Barrier exemplifies superior design and engineering, producing one of the safest and strongest barriers in the world.

The TL–2 water-filled barriers are tested to the AASHTO MASH–1 standard and rated for TL–2 (70km/hr). Each barrier measures 2000(L) x 1000(H) x 580(W) mm and has a pin-to-pin length of 1.7m when interconnected. The empty weight is 62kg, and when filled, it weighs 660kg.

With a height of over one meter, these barriers are suitable for highway applications, pedestrian safety, crowd control, and site protection for below-ground works, among many other uses.

The RICOCHET safety barrier system has successfully undergone stringent testing to meet the internationally recognized MASH (Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware) standards and conforms to CoPTTM (section B6).

Therefore, additional safety fencing is not required, unlike other barriers. These barriers are distinguished by their strength, performance, ease of handling, and compliance with MASH certification requirements.

Each barrier features a drain point on each side for safe water drainage without entering live traffic lanes, and the fill point is designed so water can be extracted if needed.

Additionally, each barrier has two 22mm mounting holes on the top to allow for the installation of screens, reducing driver distraction caused by work zone activity.

The required end treatments consist of two barriers and one cap, providing a flat end surface for attaching safety delineation, and must not be water-filled.
